Monday Happy List

Monday Happy Things {Week 400}

Platinum Jubilee embroidery hoop

Starting the week by writing the Monday Happy List is something I’ve been doing for a while. It’s a chance for me to sit down and reflect on the things that made me happy in the previous week, as well as to record some of our family adventures. It’s a post I always love to sit down and write. I was really tired after our amazing half term adventures so most of last week was a bit of a blur.

Monday Happy Things {Week 400}

My daughter went to her first school disco! She has missed out on a lot due to the pandemic and was excited to go to a disco at her school. She went with a friend and had lots of fun, she was very red and sweaty when I picked her up!

We finally managed to watch Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore which was really good.

Little Sis started trumpet lessons! She had a taster session which she really enjoyed so we decided to give trumpet lessons a try for the remainder of the term. She’s very sporty but I thought it would be good for her to try something musical. She’s having a lot of fun so far.

Corgi at Conrad

Over the weekend we went into London so we could visit The Queen and her Corgis Trail. This is a public sculpture trail around London, featuring 19 decorated larger than life corgis. My daughter loves dogs so we enjoyed trying to find the corgi sculptures in the sunshine.

I spent some time on my special Platinum Jubilee embroidery hoop from my Cotton Clara subscription box. I really wanted to stitch this before the Jubilee weekend but haven’t had enough time. Hopefully I can finish it this week as I have some other fun embroidery projects to work on.

    Ahh! So many things to be happy about. I am glad your daughter had a great time at the school disco and I am still waiting to watch the latest Fantastic Beasts film. The Corgi Trail sounds like a lot of fun x

    Sounds like a lovely week and it’s so nice about the school disco. The children missed so much.

    The corgi trail sounds like fun, I always think it’s nice to take a walk with the objective of finding things, it makes the walk seem shorter x

    I used to LOVE school discos! I didn’t realise they still had them. I hope your daughter had the best time.
