Starting the week by writing the Monday Happy List is something I’ve been doing for a while. It’s a chance for me to sit down and reflect on the things that made me happy in the previous week, as well as to record some of our family adventures. It’s a post I always love to write.
Monday Happy Things {Week 364}
Last week we celebrated our 13th wedding anniversary, and lace is the traditional gift. I found a fun and quirky card for my husband and bought a personalised planter to celebrate.
I’m so excited that I’ve been offered a new job! I’ve been in my present job for 4 years and really needed a change. I’m going to be doing something totally different and I can’t wait to get started.
Yesterday we made our annual trip to the Pop Up Farm pumpkin patch. We all love walking around the pumpkin patch and choosing our pumpkins. The kids went a bit crazy this year and picked loads of colourful pumpkins and squashes. We are keeping them outside for now and will carve them in a few weeks to make them last until Halloween.
My son is a big gamer and was delighted to be sent a copy of the new Sonic Colours Ultimate which came out last week. It follows Sonic’s quest to stop his nemesis Doctor Eggman from enslaving an alien race and taking over the world. He’s been playing it on the PS4 and having a great time.
I finished the embroidered felt banner I’ve been working on recently. It features a beautiful Desert Moth and the colours are just perfect for Autumn.

October 5, 2021 at 12:11 pmWe went to the Pop Up Farm pumpkin patch for the very first time this year as it’s about a 10 min drive from us and it was loads of fun. Although we went during the rain on Saturday so it was very muddy x
