Starting the week by writing the Monday Happy List  is something I’ve been doing for a while. It’s a chance for me to sit down and reflect on the things that made me happy in the previous week, as well as to record some of our family adventures. It’s a post I always love to write.
Monday Happy List {Week 327}
Home schooling has been challenging, as I’m sure it has been for a lot of parents. I work in a school and my children are not allowed to return to their school so it has been difficult juggling everything.
After the children have done their school work we have been playing with Hama beads. We have a huge stash (which never seems to go down!) and it’s a fun task to keep their hands busy and take their minds off school. Last week they made hama bead Among Us Crewmate characters and our little Bichon Frise pup too.
With more time at home we’ve been baking from scratch. Last week we made Butternut Squash soup, Tomato soup, and mulled wine brownies. The brownies were amazing but the cooking method was a little tricky. My daughter asked where the brownies went, and I had to admit we finished them when they went to bed as they tasted so good!
With our exercise limited to close to home we ventured to Black Park for an early morning walk over the weekend. It was lovely and quiet and we felt we could really stretch our legs. Our dog loved exploring the woods and it was great to feel the sunshine on our faces.
Have a great week everyone.

It has been a hard week for us too as I am finding home schooling a struggle on some days when kids are too tired or uninterested. So we do take breaks. Hama beads sounds like fun, not played with these for a long time
All of you parents are doing so well homeschooling alongside everything else you usually do, I’m in awe as I can barely sort myself out x
I can only imagine how difficult home schooling must be, especially for parents who are also working alongside schooling their children. Black Park looks lovely; that must be a lovely place to go to really get away from it all!
We love Black Park, and when we are allowed take our granddaughter there as they are not far away, great for letting off a bit of energy
Sounds like a lovely week! We have been baking a lot too and the kids have been doing many activities together when they have completed their school work.
Sounds like a lovely week 🙂 I’ve been trying to stick my positive pants on and make every day count . Doing fun stuff in our breaks have really helped x
Baking from scratch can be stressful but I also find it very therapeutic indeed, good luck with homeschooling.
Oh gosh, I can’t imagine how hard it is for you to be teaching and homeschooling! I used to love making things with Hama beads when I was a kid.
