I love to start the week by writing the Monday Happy List. It’s a chance for me to sit down and reflect on the things that made me happy in the previous week, as well as to record some of our family adventures. It’s a post I love to write.
Monday Happy List {Week 315}
We were recently sent a parcel of LoDough products to try. This is the revolutionary food brand with the convenience, taste and texture of bread, pizza and pastry but with 90% fewer carbs. We were sent some of their pizza bases, Southern Style Crumb Coating, Miracle Cake Bars and the delicious brownie mix to try. The Miracle Cake Bars were eaten straight away whilst I enjoyed making the brownie mix. The brownie mix has less than 65 calories per brownie, and all you needed to do was add water and bake! Perfect for quick and easy brownies.
We are all super happy that it’s finally half term. Although we are glad to be back at work and school it is mentally exhausting. We have some fun day trips planned and just want to enjoy some quality family time.
On Saturday we finally managed to visit the Battle of Britain Bunker in Uxbridge. The Battle of Britain Bunker is an underground operations room at RAF Uxbridge, formerly used by No. 11 Group Fighter Command during the Second World War. Fighter aircraft operations were controlled from there throughout the War and it played a big part during the Battle of Britain and D-Day. I’m going to write a full post about our visit because we had a great visit.
We are huge fans of Draw with Rob and have been enjoying his videos at the weekend. The whole family enjoys drawing so it’s become a bit of a weekend tradition for us to sit down and draw along together. We loved the latest picture of a pumpkin and the kids have been drawing them with all kinds of faces!
I’ve had a break from social media this weekend which has been great. Sometimes I get really fed up with it, especially the amount of time it can suck up. After watching The Social Dilemma on Netflix I decided to spend less time on my phone and more time on my other hobbies. When the Autumn Craftpod box landed I knew I wanted to make everything in it. I’ve already stitched the felt badger which was quite tricky but sooooo satisfying. I’m definitely making more time for my hobbies this Winter.
Have a great week!

October 28, 2020 at 3:26 amI do have a love for many things with carbs so the idea of yummy food with a lot less carbs sure does sound appealing to me. I’ve never been any good at drawing, would the show help with that?
