Where I treat myself (again) with the March Treat Box

Posted on March 3, 2016February 15, 2017 by jenny

Instagram has become my favourite place to hang out these days. There is so much inspiration and I love discovering new people and brands to follow. Unfortunately it’s also bad for my bank balance! I use hashtags to find the kinds of things I like and keep finding new subscription boxes I like the look of! Fortunately the post comes whilst my husband is at work so he hasn’t uncovered my secret just yet…

The latest subscription box to land was the Treat Box from Not Shabby Very Chic. It came in a large flat box, tied with twine and I opened it up to find underneath a layer of tissue paper it was pretty packed with goodies and a little note.

#TreatBox

I’m not sure there was an overall theme to the #TreatBox but that didn’t matter. It contained this pretty A5 print, I love the pastel colours, perfect for Spring.

At first I thought this was a little bag of sweets but it’s actually pastel coloured wax melts. Now I just need to figure out how to use them!

I have lots of trinkets so this sweet little dish is perfect for keeping by my bedside to keep them safe.

I’m a real list keeper so am always using notebooks to write down everything I need to remember. I love the vintage map on this Sass & Belle notebook.

There was also 5 small motivational framing which will look great framed.

The last item was a huge scarf featuring part of a vintage map with the words “lets run away to paradise”. This was probably my least favourite item, but only because I’m really picky about my scarves. I’m sure I won’t find it hard to find a friend who would love it though.

My Treat Box cost an amazing £12 which I thought was excellent value for all these treats, especially as I will be using most of them. What do you think of the Treat Box? Would you treat yourself or a friend with one? Find out more here.

This looks like such a bargain for £12. I love to get little treats but I fell out of love with some of the subscription boxes I was receiving as there are only so many samples you can get through. I do like the idea of this box though.
