Two things my youngest loves – making slime and watching films at the cinema. We saw a trailer for Toy Story 4 at the weekend and we just can’t wait to watch it. It inspired us to make this Toy Story-inspired camo slime. Get out your Little Green Army men to help measure and make some!
Toy Story-inspired camo slime supplies:
- 4 containers
- Large bowl
- Popsicle sticks or spoons
- 2 cups white glue
- 2 cups shaving cream
- 2 cups foaming hand wash
- 2 tsp baby lotion
- 2 tsp cornstarch
- Green paint
- Darker green paint
- Tan paint
- Black paint
- 2 tsp baking soda
- 4 tbsp contact solution
How to make Toy Story-inspired camp slime:
In a large bowl, pour 2 cups of white glue. Add 2 cups of foaming hand wash.
Pour in 2 cups of shaving cream. Â Shaving cream is tricky to measure, I just pour a giant, super full cup!
Mix until smooth. Â
Divide into 4 smaller cups. Into each cup, add ½ tsp of each lotion and cornstarch.  Mix.
Using paint, tint each bowl a different colour. Â You will have a green, dark green, tan and black.
Add ½ tsp baking soda to each cup and stir. Â
Finally, add 1 tbsp of contact solution to each cup and stir until it pulls away from the side of the bowl. Â (I recommend adding this to one cup at a time, stirring and then moving on!)
Knead the slime until no longer sticky. Â
Once all of the slime is kneaded, you can stretch your slime out and combine the colours. Perfect for your Little Green Army men to play with.
Once mixed, your slime should turn an army green/grey. So much fun for Toy Story fans or those who just love playing with slime!
