Half term was a little dramatic with Big Brother falling over and breaking his wrist. Accidents do happen but I felt so sorry for Little Sis who had to spend a lot of her half term sitting around in Hospital waiting rooms whilst her brother got patched up. I was so grateful that we were gifted the new Aquabeads Box of Fun set. Thankfully this arrived during half term and Little Sis had a lovely time crafting and making animals.
Half term crafting with Aquabeads Box of Fun
Have you heard of Aquabeads before? They are a brilliant, creative toy and so easy to use. We are huge fans of Aquabeads and you can see some reviews of the playsets here. We really like the bigger sets as you can store everything inside them and the Aquabeads Box of Fun was no different. The set included over 3000 jewel and solid beads in 24 colours, container with bead palette and layout table with 2 flip trays, a bead pen, water sprayer, 5 double-sided template sheets, 10 bead stands, play mat and instructions.
The thing I really love about Aquabeads is that my daughter can just get on and craft with them. I helped her to open the packets of beads and pour them into the tray but then she was able to choose her design from the template sheet. The new flip tray design meant she could remove the bead design from the tray with no waiting time – you can start making the next bead design straight away! She was happy to design and spray and soon had a load of animals.
The set includes bead stand and a play mat which is great for imaginative play with your creations.
The Aquabeads Box of Fun costs around £19.99 but this includes everything mentioned above, there is no need to purchase anything else. My 7 year old has had the set out for over a week and she’s enjoying crafting her Aquabead animals, I can easily seeing me buying more beads for her as she loves these designs.
