{Free printable} Sleep and Water tracker

I love sharing free printables with my readers. I want my blog to be a great resource and hoping that you will find this free printable Sleep and Water trackable as useful as I do. My children love to track things, especially how much water they drink. It’s so important to keep hydrated and this free water tracker is perfect for this.

My children suffer from headaches and they frequently mention this when they get home from school. When I checked their water bottles it was clear they just weren’t drinking enough, despite easy access to plenty of water. I love tracking my own habits with my bullet journal and made this simple Sleep and Water trackable for them to use at home.

But first I should mention why it’s so important to drink water. Water is essential for a healthy mind and body. Did you know that 1% dehydration can negatively affect your attention span and short-term memory? This is why it’s so important that children (and adults) drink plenty of water during the day. Water can improve your mood and energy levels too.

My free printable Sleep and Water trackers are really easy to use. Simply print them at home and put them up where you can see them every day – on the fridge would be great. Fill in the month then every day you can add how many hours you slept for, or how many glasses of water you drank.

How often do you have to do something for it to become a habit? The 21 day rule is commonly accepted, so it takes 21 days for something to form as a habit. After 66 days that something becomes a habit and up to 254 days for it to be fully formed. The good news is that the best thing you can do is just start tracking your sleep and water patterns, and you will soon see if you are getting enough.

The average person needs between 7 to 9 hours but this varies from person to person and their lifestyle. Filling out my free trackable will let you see any patterns so you can improve the amount of sleep you get, or the water you drink.

Try it and see! My children love a chart and this was an easy way for them to see they just weren’t drinking enough during the day. It takes seconds to fill out but is a fun reminder to look after yourself, and self care has never been more important right now.

A water tracker is definitely something I need as I don’t think I drink nearly as much as I should. Although thankfully now sleep is something I get quite a lot of x
