I love making Christmas cards with my youngest. She is very creative and loves to make cards for family and friends. This year we have been making simple Christmas Tree pop up cards.

Card
Craft papers
Pencil
Ruler
Scissors
Glue
Marker pens

How to make a Christmas Tree pop up card

Print our free printable Christmas Tree pop up card template. There is a coloured version or plain version to choose from. Cut out the parts you need, you will need to colour if you are using the plain template.

Cut and fold the card in half.

Then make a horizontal cut from the closed side of the card according to the PDF template.

Then make a diagonal fold from the cutout area according to the PDF template.

Open the cards fold.

Then, cut out the Christmas tree from the template.

Glue the green Christmas tree over the folded part of the card.

Then, glue the star on top of the tree.

 

Glue a cover on the outer part of your card.

Glue the tree trunk on the bottom part of the tree.

Decorate the Christmas tree with colourful craft papers in dots or stars or however you like.

This makes a simple Christmas Tree pop up card which kids will love to make and give. There is plenty of space to write a message too.
