Very early this morning I opened our cabin curtains to see we had docked back at Southampton. After a few days away on Ventura I was pretty glad to be back on firm ground. Just a few days before I had whipped up some colourful Duck Tape passport covers for the family.
Duck Tape passport cover tutorial
I love crafting with Duck Tape and have a pretty good selection of prints and patterns. This is a bit of a stash buster craft which I was shamed into doing when my 6 year old counted how many rolls of Duck Tape I own!
Crafting with Duck Tape is so quick and easy. To make a Duck Tape passport cover in a couple of minutes is simple.
Choose a selection of tapes, I used 3 different ones, and cover one side of an A4 sheet of paper. Trim away any excess pieces of paper.
Place your passport in the centre of the Duck Tape covered paper and fold the two short sides to the centre, using your fingers to gently crease the Duck Tape paper.
Cut a smaller strip of a contrasting Duck Tape or use Duckling Tape to cover the long and short edges.
Tuck the covers of your passport inside your Duck Tape passport cover.
This is a fun way to personalise your passport. My children chose their favourite Duck Tape patterns and each one took a couple of minutes to make. they enjoyed having their own covers and they were certainly much easier to find in my bag!
