Cricut Meet and Greet London

Cricut demo

I’ve had my Cricut Maker a good few months but still feel like I’m getting to grips with it. When I saw a Cricut Meet and Greet advertised on the Cricut Europe Facebook page I knew I would love to attend. Fortunately one of the sessions was in West London and on a Monday – the one day a week I don’t work! I booked a free ticket and went off to find out more.

The Meet and Greet took place in a hotel and it was lovely to talk to other Cricut users before it started. Everyone had different machines and used them for different projects, it was a real mix of people.

Some of the Cricut team introduced themselves and talked about the Cricut brand, as well as some of their new products. The first product was Infusible Ink. I was excited to hear more about this as it’s just been launched in the US and I’d seen some fun projects using it.

We watched a video about the new Cricut EasyPress Mini. It’s so small compared to the EasyPress 2 I have and is perfect for smaller projects.

The final talk was about how Cricut Design Space can now be used offline.

After all the talks there was time for lunch and a chance to see some demos with the infusible ink.

There were 3 projects – two coasters and a tshirt all made with infusible ink. It was fun to watch them as I’m always a little nervous about trying new products.

Sadly they didn’t demo the new EasyPress Mini but I picked it up and it’s lovely and light. I think I might be adding it to my Christmas wishlist!

The Meet and Greet ended with a raffle where you could win some amazing Cricut prize bundles for sharing pictures from the day. Sadly I didn’t win anything but you can purchase infusible ink and the EasyPress 2 from Amazon and Hobbycraft.

Have you been to one of the Cricut Meet and Greet events? I think each event had a slightly different focus so I would love to hear what you saw if you went to one.
