As I’ve mentioned a few times, my 5 year old absolutely adores the Clangers who recently made a return to children’s tv. During the summer holidays we spent many happy hours perfecting our own version of the Clangers home planet. It’s actually still going strong despite hours of play.
The BBC Shop has a great range of Clangers toys and we were invited to choose one to play with and tell you about. We chose the Clangers Home Planet Playset which my son has been talking about for months. He already has a few Clangers figures and the Home Planet Playset is scaled for play with other Clangers Little Character figures and vehicles.
Clangers Home Planet Playset
The Clangers Home Planet Playset is perfect for ages 3 years and over which means both my children have been enjoying playing with this toy. I think it’s really well made and I can see my children having lots of fun with it.
There are three different areas for your Clangers to play and your little ones can recreate their favourite stories.
This is a really interactive toy. Lift up the dustbin lid and there’s a slide down to the Living Cave! There’s loads of features including a movable telescope, swinging hammock, bed caves, soup wells with pop up Baby Soup Dragon, and Mother Clanger’s garden.
The telescope can be put in three different locations.
The playset includes a Granny Clanger figure so you can swing her, or any of your other figures, on the hammock!
There are so many more features! Press the button and see the Baby Soup Dragon pop up. You can also lift up the dustbin lid and there’s a secret slide.
I think this is a great addition to the toy range. I can easily see Father Christmas bringing a few of the other sets to compliment this one too. The Clangers Home Planet Playset has a RRP of £24.99 and is available from the BBC Shop and all good toy shops.
