My son starts Reception in a couple of weeks. We’ve been keeping busy to prevent the dreaded Summer holiday brain-loss and have been working our way through basic phonics and puzzles. Last week I attended the Hobbycraft Christmas preview. I loved getting a sneak preview of the new Christmas products and hearing about some fabulous new lines for Gruffalo and Peppa Pig fans. Sometimes blogging has some major perks. Today was one of those days as we were invited to a gala screening of Planes 2: Fire and Rescue. This is a funny time of year. My 4 year old is going through his last week of Nursery and we have 6 weeks of fun before he starts Reception. We’re fully embracing the warm summer weather and having fun with some summer crafting.
