    This year we had a lot of wrapping paper and cards left over after Christmas. We try to recycle as much as possible to reduce our waste so the children and I have been using up some of this paper in our crafts. This week we’ve been making some Valentine decorations and have had fun with our coiled paper heart craft.     It’s been a beautifully quiet week. The children only went back to nursery and school on Tuesday and we all enjoyed a short week. After school clubs start this week so I’m glad we had a slow start to the year.   My 5 year old has discovered hot chocolate so we treated ourselves to a loaded hot chocolate in a new cafe on the high street. It’s a really versatile material to craft with and late last year I discovered Duck Glitter crafting tape, which is Duck Tape with a glitter effect which doesn’t come off.
