    Christmas Gingerbread gift guide {2024}

    I wasn’t sure about producing a gingerbread gift guide this year. Although they are fun to put together, it always leaves us with a lot of gingerbread products to eat! This year I have carefully curated a smaller amount of gingerbread products which we’re enjoying this year. Gingerbread is always popular but this year it seems to be everywhere, including the Tesco Christmas advert – have you seen it yet? For the home When the Emma Bridgewater catalogue landed on my doormat I couldn’t believe she had produced a gingerbread themed range. It’s a small range of only 5 products,…

    Mini gingerbread houses

    December was such a busy month that we didn’t have time to make our annual gingerbread house. For the last few years we’ve tried different ready-made gingerbread house kits as every supermarket seems to make their own. This year we opted for Vintersaga Mini gingerbread house kit from Ikea which featured in my Gingerbread Gift Guide. The kit cost £2.95 and I picked up some of their other gingerbread products too (their gingerbread dough is my favourite!). Mini gingerbread houses This kit makes six mini gingerbread houses which can be decorated and hung on a tree. I picked up a…

    Lego gingerbread ornaments (40642)

    I mentioned a few weeks ago that I had purchased a couple of Lego Gingerbread Ornament kits for my kids to make. We found these in the Lego Store in Westfield White City and I knew they would make a fun activity for them to build and add to our Christmas tree. We love buying Lego at Christmas and have the limited edition 2015 Lego gingerbread house (40139), as well as the Lego gingerbread house (10267) which goes really well with Santa’s Workshop (10245). Yep, we love Lego at Christmas! Lego gingerbread ornaments (40642) Lego gingerbread ornaments (40642) contains 190…

    2023 Christmas gingerbread gift guide

    I feel like I’m a little late with my Christmas Gingerbread Gift Guide this year. I’ve been picking up gingerbread themed products for a good few weeks now, but I just haven’t had the time to photograph anything. I have finally put everything together and I am delighted to bring you a post dedicated to my favourite gingerbread products. The term gingerbread refers to a broad category of baked goods, typically flavoured with delicious spices including ginger, cloves, nutmeg and cinnamon. I can’t resist a gingerbread biscuit all year round but they seem extra special at this time of year.…

    Morph gingerbread biscuits

    We’ve mentioned a few times now that we really enjoyed visiting Morph’s Epic Art Adventure London trail. Since the trail started we’ve had a couple of trips into London to see it but unfortunately didn’t manage to tick off all the sculptures. The app was really handy keeping tabs of all the sculptures and we definitely had our favourites which we shared with you here and here. Growing up we loved to watch Morph and they inspired some baking at home. Morph gingerbread biscuits I couldn’t find a Morph shaped cookie cutter so my husband designed and printed it on…

    How have I never made Red Nose Day gingerbread biscuits before? We love to make gingerbread in all different shapes and sizes but someone we’ve just never made Red Nose Day gingerbread biscuits. This is a simple way to help celebrate Red Nose Day – and would make an easy fundraiser for a school event (or after school treat!).
