I’ve been promising a car craft for kids for a while. The F1 season started a few weeks ago and my family have been avidly watching the races. We’ve also been trying to eat a dish from the country the race takes place, which has been a lot of fun! Today I’m sharing our cardboard roll car craft. You can use any kind or cardboard tube for this craft, just cut it to a size approximately 10cm long,

How to make a cardboard roll car craft for kids:
Cut out the pieces for the cardboard roll car using the templates and card.
Take a red coloured craft paper and wrap the cardboard roll with it. Then glue the wrap to secure it.
Draw the rectangular on the cardboard roll according to the template.
Cut three sides of the rectangle using a pair of scissors.
Glue a blue piece of craft paper on the car’s windshield.
Glue the red paper strips on the sides of the car.
Glue the stripes on the rear wing.
Glue the rear wing on the back of the car.
Glue the numbers on the sides of the car.
So far we have made two cardboard roll cars in different colours but you could make as many as you need for the full Formula 1 line up!
