Inside an old clock shop is a wall full of clocks. And right in the middle is one very special clock. This is the Tickety Toc Clock! My two pre-schoolers adore the adventures of twins Tommy and Tallulah. Did you know there will be a special Christmas episode of Tickety Toc which will premiere this…

Getting Ready for Christmas with Topcashback
As I sit and write this there are only 30 29 days until Christmas. I’ve bought presents, eaten mince pies and watched that silly John Lewis Christmas advert ad nauseum. In fact, I’m already tired of all those supermarket Christmas ads. At Christmas I feel a bit caught between trying to buy handmade, support my…
Forever Fashion campaign with Lenor
Today I thought I would share with you an interesting piece or research from Lenor which found that we throw away clothes worth more than £2.7 billion every year. And the reason? Food and drink stains, rips and even washing them too much or on the wrong setting! Almost nine in ten adults ruin and…
A tidy kitchen for me
I try to be house proud but when I’m juggling childcare, the food shopping, and washing, to be honest cleaning comes bottom of my list. Although we’ve been in our new house for 6 months we still have lots to do and the kitchen probably needs a total makeover. We’ve moved to a new borough…
Handmade slippers
You all know how much I love making things for the children or our home but it’s not often I make any thing for myself. I was contacted by Amanda who owns Joe’s Toes, selling felt slipper kits, slippers and felt accessories, and asked if I would like to try a kit out. I chose…

I’ve already blogged about Lyle’s Mary Christmases campaign which sounds fun but I was contacted by Yeo Valley too, who think 2013 is all about the…
Win an annual pass to the Eden Project!
I was recently asked if I would like to try Baobab, it’s the latest super-fruit that is grown in South Africa and is harvested and turned into a nutrient rich powder by the Eden Project in Cornwall. They sell it as a smoothie in their Rainforest Biome, and it is now available to buy in…
Tell Me A Story
When I had my first child I was overwhelmed with the number of books suitable for him. We’ve always loved books so it was pretty natural for me to read with him too. Every week we would go to the library (we still do now!) and we read books every day. I’ve discovered authors in…
Doc ScStuffins Make Me Better Lambie
Doc McStuffins fixes broken toys in her backyard playhouse clinic with the help of her friends Hallie, Lambie, Chilly, and Stuffy. Both my children love the programme and love to play doctor to their toys. They were sent the Make Me Better Lambie from the very popular Doc McStuffins range of toys from Flair. The…
