Doc McStuffins Pet Vet Bag Playset

We’ve been really lucky to be sent some lovely toys to review over the school holidays. As I’ve mentioned before, my 3 year old loves to dress up and Doc McStuffins is one of her favourites. She received the product the Doc McStuffins Pet Vet Bag  Playset from Flair. Whilst we all know that Doc McStuffins loves to fix her toys we are looking forward to the new episodes as she looks after her stuffed pets too! Yep, she’s expanding her practice with her Pet Vet Clinic which means the The Doc McStuffins Pet Vet Bag Playset is one of…

Dine with Mr Men and Little Miss at Beefeater

This week we were invited along to our local Beefeater restaurant to experience a family meal and see for ourselves the new refreshed Mr Men menus and activity packs for the little ones. I love our local Beefeater, it is really family-friendly and good value. Dine with Mr Men and Little Miss at Beefeater this summer, along with the themed menu the children were given a fun Mr Men and Little Miss activity booklet and pack of crayons. This kept them busy whilst we were waiting for our food. They especially enjoyed the Mr Men Space Game game which was…

    A room of my own

Today my daughter finished at her lovely nursery.  She has a couple of weeks off before she starts at her new preschool. In September she will be spending afternoons at her new preschool. She’s really excited about this, especially the uniform and book bag for some reason. I’m also looking forward to it. She needs a new challenge and so do I. My challenge is probably not so fun as hers – de-cluttering the house and starting to think about going back to work. Our house is in need of some attention, much like my CV. Although blogging is a…

    July Japan Candy Box unboxing

Last week a new subscription box popped through my door – the Japan Candy Box. Japan Candy Box is the sweetest monthly Japanese candy subscription service and we were excited to try it out. This is what our box looked like, packed full of 10 colourful candy and sweet treats to try! It goes without saying that my children love candy too so we tried all the sweets together. Here are our thoughts: The Glico Collon Biscuit Rolls have a funny sounding name and were our least favourite snack. They are like little crispy rolls, perhaps filled with green tea? The Horadekita…

    Back to School with Stamptastic

Earlier this year I was sent some brilliant products from Stamptastic which I think you may find useful if you have children going back to/starting school soon. They sell handy little ink pads and personalised name stamps that let you stamp your children’s clothes, bags, shoes and just about everything but your child – try, but they might resist! After struggling to find school uniform last year – there’s clearly a reason why shops start selling it in July! – I was super organised this year. Yes, I bought uniform for both my children in July which only leaves me…

    Beach themed sensory activity

Living in London it’s important that we escape to the seaside as often as possible. We always come back with plenty of treasures from the beach including sea glass, smooth pebbles and shells. We’ve tried to make these into souvenirs, such as the fillable wooden letter filled with sea glass we made earlier this year. It’s been a while since we had fun with a sensory activity but the warmer weather is perfect for a beach themed sensory play. It is also a great way to remind us of previous summer holidays. First of all we used FIMO modelling clay…
