Gameband+Minecraft review

Posted on August 13, 2015September 15, 2021 by jenny

My son has recently discovered Minecraft so was pretty excited to receive the new Gameband+Minecraft – wearable tech for Minecraft fans. It launches later this month in Dixons for SRP £64.99.

Gameband+Minecraft

The Gameband+Minecraft  lets you play Minecraft anywhere, anytime and on any computer. This is the world’s first Minecraft wearable and is more than just a USB band. With this stylish, high-tech band, you can take the full Minecraft experience everywhere you go.

Simply plug Gameband into the USB port of any Windows, Mac or Linux computer, launch the Gameband App, and then enjoy endless fun creating and playing your favourite game. The freedom of Minecraft on the go, this wearable is perfect for those who don’t want to be tied down to playing on a single computer.

Gameband+Minecraft

Featuring ultra-fast, long-lasting hardware, Gameband saves your Worlds and also backs them up onto secure, cloud-based servers. Gameband ships with the PixelFurnace App which lets you customize it with messages, images and animations and share them via www.pixelfurnace.com

We usually take at least one laptop with us whenever we go away but I like the fact my son could take his Gameband and play on any computer or laptop he wanted. He can also take it with him to friends’ houses and play there. He really likes wearing it although the Small size is tight on him so I would recommend trying one on before you order it.

Follow Gameband on Facebook for more info.

That’s such a handy accessory for gamers. This would be perfect for my son. You’ve given me a good idea of what to get him for Xmas!

My son (7) loves Minecraft, and since our lives are currently divided between the UK and Japan we often carry laptops with us when travelling. The gameband would make our life much easier, at least in terms of Minecraft. 🙂
