Starting my week with The Weekly Edit is a ritual I’ve kept for years. It’s my favourite Monday morning anchor—a chance to slow down, celebrate the ‘small wins,’ and gather the smiles from the week behind us. Part reflection and part record-keeping, it’s my way of documenting our family’s adventures before the next chapter begins.
The Weekly Edit {Week 33/2026}
We spent the whole week on holiday in Ireland with the teens which was a lot of fun. We walked many miles and made sure we introduced the teens to everything Ireland could offer, from the Book of Kells at Trinity College Dublin to the Dublin Portal, the Arisu Photo Booth to live music in Temple Bar, and a few days exploring the south coast of Ireland too.
I’ve been reading A Little Trickerie by Rosanna Pike whilst away in Ireland. I was too tired at the end of each day to read much, but I love the style of the book and can’t wait to read more now I’m home.
I picked up a lot of paper ephemera whilst we were away from tickets to receipts and paper napkins. I’m looking forward to scrapbooking all these little souvenirs from our recent holiday so I can preserve some of the memories.
The latest Craftpod box arrived so I took it away with us. It features a lovely colourful scene of an allotment to embroider.
Have a great week all.
