3d printed lego wreath

The Weekly Edit {Week 10/2026}

Posted on March 8, 2026March 9, 2026 by jenny

Starting my week with the Weekly Edit is a ritual I’ve kept for years. It’s my favourite Monday morning anchor—a chance to slow down, celebrate the ‘small wins,’ and gather the smiles from the week behind us. Part reflection and part record-keeping, it’s my way of documenting our family’s adventures before the next chapter begins.

The Weekly Edit {Week 10/2026}

Last week I read the National Trust Book of Biscuits and made the gingerbread biscuit recipe. The gingerbread was deliciously soft and made a lot of biscuits. I’d love to say it took us a while to eat them, but they were gone in a few days. I’ll definitely be trying more of these yummy recipes.

I’ve enjoyed using our 3D printer again. We printed an oversize Lego wreath last year and have been planning to display it all year round, printing seasonal extras for it. For Spring we’ve added pink dots, white flowers and yellow bows. It’s fun to have printed something useful and pretty at the same time.

The teen and I have been crafting spring costumes for our Maileg mice. We made little flower costumes for Mothers Day, and then decided we would make a head start on little St Patrick’s Day outfits too. Making miniature is always fun!

I binge watched Bridgerton season 4. I loved the costumes and characters, but am glad I read the books first.

My son had another week of mock exams in preparation for his GCSEs this summer. We celebrated the end of the week by going for a walk around Hampstead, visiting Fenton House and The Hill Garden and Pergola overlooking West Heath.

    It sounds like you have had a busy week, the biscuits sound great.
    We have 2 3D printers but they were my husbands and I have no idea how to use them.
    My daughter has been having mock exams and the last one got a distinction and had her main exam yesterday, with another today and through out March

    I looooove the lego wreath! I should get a 3D printer, this seems like a super cool and interesting thing for me to learn. Do you recommend any brand? Thank you so much.

    Man, exams always freaked me out. I hope your son does well! The 3D wreath is really cool. I like the idea of printing them for different occasions.

    What a week! I get stressed out during the weeks like that, but you know what – it’s gonna end. A new one is coming!

    I didn’t realise you could do lego style things on a 3d printer. That sounds cool! I need to catch up on Bridgerton!
