Gingerbread Manor puzzle {review and giveaway}

We’re a family who love to do puzzles together. Our table always has a puzzle on the go, especially at this time of year. We were delighted to be gifted the Gingerbread Manor puzzle from Wentworth. We are big fans of jigsaw puzzles, especially Wentworth puzzles which are made in the heart of the British countryside. Their premium quality puzzles are sustainable and made to last for years to come.

Gingerbread Manor puzzle

A sweet sensation, Gingerbread Manor is a fun, fairy-tale-like cottage made of candy canes, cakes, cookies and gingerbread characters. Piece together this confectionary-covered cottage and discover the different hand-designed shaped whimsy pieces within.

Aimee Stewart, is a self-taught artist, photographer and writer. Stewart is a popular artist at Wentworth and she has created many of their favourite festive images. The puzzle features shaped puzzle pieces, called whimsies, designed to match the theme of the image.

Little Sis enjoyed finding the whimsies – she found a gingerbread man, tree, cracker and many more different shaped pieces.

Gingerbread Manor puzzle

We love Christmas jigsaw puzzles and enjoyed a fun afternoon. Our puzzle contained 250 pieces which were all irregularly shaped for added challenge. We liked the level of the challenge though and enjoyed the dissected corners, straight pieces within the puzzle and non straight pieces around the outside! The puzzle is available in 4 different sizes – 140 pieces, 250 pieces, 500 pieces and 1000 pieces.

The puzzle took us a good couple of hours and was a great Sunday afternoon activity for the family. We liked the picture and every time we looked we saw a different detail.
