Gingerbread Jumpers jigsaw puzzle from Wentworth Puzzles

We are a family who love to play board game and do jigsaw puzzles together. We love this time of year because we are more than happy to stay in and do something together, especially if it involves using our brains and having some family fun! We were recently gifted some lovely jigsaw puzzles from Wentworth Puzzles who were founded in 1991 and have been producing unique and intricately crafted wooden jigsaw puzzles from their factory in the heart of the Wiltshire countryside ever since. They create a huge number of laser cut wooden puzzles made from sustainably sourced wood.

Gingerbread Jumpers

The Gingerbread Jumpers is one of the unique jigsaw puzzles from Wentworth Puzzles, which combines two festive traditions – ugly Christmas jumpers and gingerbread cookies. What do you get if you put them together – edible Christmas jumpers! We had so much fun doing this unique wooden puzzle.

We really enjoyed looking for all the different styles of jumper and the puzzle included some special pieces called whimsies, which my daughter loved finding.

It took us about 2 hours and made for a fun Sunday afternoon. We added this gorgeous puzzle to our 2021 Gingerbread Gift Guide.

Reindeer, Lapland

This is a great jigsaw puzzle for an animal lover. The Reindeer is one of the most loved and recognisable elements of Christmas time. Of course, they are Santa’s most important helpers as they pull his sleigh. Nature jigsaw puzzles are always popular and this would make a great activity for the whole family to complete this winter.

This photographic jigsaw puzzle by Natalie Sternberg gets up close and personal with this Reindeer. You can even see the snow on his muzzle and the frost on his antlers.

Santa’s Workshop Advent Calendar Puzzle

This year we were introduced to the wonderful idea of a jigsaw puzzle advent calendar from Wentworth Puzzles. The Santa’s Workshop Advent Calendar Puzzle includes 24 stand up characters! This charming wooden keepsake is a fun way to count down the days to Christmas and perfect for ages 3 to 7 although all ages love a puzzle!

The puzzle features shaped puzzle pieces, known as whimsies, connected to the theme of the puzzle. There are 28 pieces and the lower the piece count the larger the puzzle pieces which are perfect for smaller hands. There are some lovely jigsaw puzzles for children and this will be sure to be a big hit with them this Christmas. Pop over to this post for your chance to win!
