We love to support local businesses and couldn’t wait to visit Ducks Hill Farm who have just installed an egg vending machine! We couldn’t wait to go and buy some and with Father’s Day coming up we wanted to use the eggs for a special Father’s Day breakfast.

Ducks Hill Farm egg vending machine

Ducks Hill Farm is based in north Ruislip and sells fresh eggs. They have recently installed an egg vending machine at the entrance to their farm so you can always get hold of their delicious fresh eggs. The egg vending machine is housed in a small wooden shed outside their front gate. There is plenty of space to pull off the main road and park.

I have never seen such an amazing vending machine before. There are a number of small and large doors and you can choose which eggs you want to buy.

You type the door number into the machine, pay by card (no cash!) and the door is released.

You can them take your box of eggs before closing the door.

The kids loved choosing the eggs they wanted. We opted for 12 eggs and took them home.

You can bring back your Duck’s Hill Farm egg boxes and place them on the table next to the vending machine so they can be recycled.

We wanted to use the eggs to make a really delicious breakfast, called Hotel Breakfast from Roald Dahl’s Completely Revolting Recipes – chosen by my 9 year old for Father’s Day. The eggs tasted delicious so we will definitely be visiting again for more eggs and to use their amazing egg vending machine!
