Chinese New Year Paper Plate drum and Weekend Box review

Posted on January 25, 2015May 7, 2017 by jenny

I can’t believe it’s been a year since I reviewed a Weekend Box. Andy, the guy behind the brilliant Weekend Box got in touch to ask if we wanted to review another one.  In case you need reminding, a Weekend Box is a fun-filled activity box subscription for little ones aged 3-6, delivered right to your door (and they fit through your letter box too!). I also have a free Weekend Box code at the bottom of this post if you want to try this for yourself.

We received a Chinese New Year themed box. My 4 year old loved opening it, he’s a crafty kid so was excited to find the neatly labelled craft packs and couldn’t decide what to make first.

Weekend Box free codeThe instructions were really clear and we were able to use the handy check list to make sure we had everything.

free Weekend Box My son was able to make it himself and added some of our Chinese New Year stickers to decorate it. He enjoyed this activity and it was simple enough that we could use our own supplies to make another one with the 3 year old.

We loved the Weekend Box we previously reviewed but Andy told us that the boxes have been improved. Each box is now themed; the box itself has been re-designed so it’s easier to keep the items together once opened; the bottom of the box includes a colour-in certificate for when your little ones complete their box; and if that wasn’t enough all the activity cards and boxes come from FSC-card.

If you would like to try a Weekend Box for free just use my code – JENNY45 – which enables all of my readers to try their 1st Weekend Box for free. Boxes can be redeemed from www.weekendboxclub.com (new customers only please and just one free box is allowed per household).
