We’ve had a brilliant half-term. The weather has been amazing and we’ve enjoyed some lovely days out. Our quiet moments were filled thanks to Flora who kindly sent us a copy of their Flora Halloween Fun Pack (available to download from their website) and a creepy crate filled with craft materials. We’ve been quite busy working our way through the fun pack!
The guide contains easy and tasty recipes, arts and crafts ideas and games to play with the kids. It was great fun for half-term, especially as both children embraced Halloween this year.
As you can see from the photographs we tried lots of the activities. The children loved the spooky eye and spoon race, they decorated the eyes themselves, and we set up a mini obstacle course with some small cones to make it more fun. They did this everyday and really enjoyed running around the garden.
There was also pumpkin fun, both carving them and drawing them, made spooky s-lime jelly, baked pumpkin and orange spider muffins and decorated the house.
The Flora Halloween Fun Pack contains lots of great recipes including Gingerbread Skeletons, Creepy Crisp Treats, Fiendish Finger Biscuits, Spooky Skeleton Cake Pops, Pumpkin and Orange Spider Muffins and Pumpkin Soup. We only tried a couple of recipes but I’ll be making a note of some of them to try next year. They were all made with delicious Flora Buttery which is lovely and easy to use, you can even recycle the empty tubs into popcorn holders when you’ve finished.
We received a Flora Buttery Creepy Crate filled with items we needed to review the Flora Buttery’s Halloween Funspiration Fun Pack – including the ingredients to make some of the recipes, most of the arts and crafts materials, and some Halloween fancy dress to get us in the spirit! Thank you Flora.
