In the living room

I admit to being a real homebird and love spending time at home. We’ve recently moved house and we’re enjoying taking our time decorating every room.

Our living room doubles as my craft room so it’s a real family space with over-flowing piles of fabric everywhere 🙂

One of my favourite pieces of furniture is the vintage kitchen cabinet I use to store my craft supplies. I have several other vintage items which I am slowly giving another lease of life.

I love to sew and have made cushions, here and here. I’ve written about how to make a duvet cover and also how to upcycle a duvet covers into a fitted sheet and a bean bag cover.

Doll quilts are fun and should be quick to make(!) due to their size. I’ve really enjoyed making a few, especially now I have a daughter who needs them for her dolls! This I Spy dolls quilt is one of my favourites, although the crawling blanket I made for Little Sis gets used every day and is lovely.
