When Edward saw a large cardboard box in the living room one morning he clearly thought it was Christmas. He was very excited and tried to rip the box open and was a bit put out when I said we had to wait for daddy to come downstairs. (Note to self – make sure any Christmas presents are already assembled before he gets to them!)
When daddy was finally ready we opened the box which contained a beautiful wooden baby walker, the tray containing different shapes and sizes of wooden blocks. The walker was really simple to put together and in no time Edward was playing away.
Edward vs. the baby walker
This is a lovely alternative to the current trend of plastic walkers and will encourage your child to be creative (or destructive!) with the wooden blocks. It can be used indoors or outdoors, used to transport other toys around and you can easily take the handle off and pop it in the car to take to grandparents.
This toy is suitable for 12 months+ but I would recommend it for early ages as some children are early walkers (like Edward) or would enjoy playing with the chunky wooden blocks.
