Win 1 of 2 Fat Quarter sets

Are you making anything at the moment? I had a burst of energy earlier in the month and have now fallen into a bit of a slump, searching for my next project. For the last few years I’ve been keeping a list of my crafty projects on the homepage of my blog. It helps remind me of all the craft kits I have (so I definitely don’t need to buy any more!) and I love to see them crossed off over the year.

As it’s currently National Embroidery Month I wanted to offer my readers the chance to win 1 of 2 Fat Quarter Sets from The Craft Cotton Co. Fat quarter sets are always useful to have in your craft stash.

  1. I am still itching to get organised enough to try smocking. Shame more crafters don’t smock. It’s a surprisingly versatile craft.

  2. My mum taught me to knit when I was knee high to a graddhopper, many centuries later I’ve decided to try again.

  3. I’ve done it already! Crochet; was asked to crochet edge some knitted blankets for charity so I taught myself by watching a tutorial on You Tube!

  4. I have an issue with a disc in my neck which means I havent been able to sew for a while now, but I keep looking at my machine desperate to get on it again, once I have my operation I want to try and make a handbag, I have seen a really good pattern for one.

  5. I bought an embroidery kit for beginners last year, but haven’t attempted it yet. So would definitely like to give it a go this year

  6. My daughter has asked me to make a memory teddy bear for her out of some of her old clothes that hold special memories for her. I have never made one before but am going to dust off my sewing machine and give it a go!

  7. Patchwork dollies bedset would be great, I usually use hexagons but I will try squares next time 🙂

  8. I’d love to learn to knit again. My mum taught me when I was little but I never stuck with it. She passed away several years ago so it would feel like a bit of an homage to her.

  9. I’m going to try and get back into knitting. Have a lovely knitted floor cusion set I’m going to make a start on this weekend!

  10. I would like to give foundation paper piecing a go. It always looks a bit daunting to me but I love the designs you can make using that method.

  11. My daughter bought me a felting kit to make a hare! It’s something I’d like to do and create lots of little Christmas animal decorations
