Starting the week by writing the Monday Happy List is something I’ve been doing for a while although now I’m moved it to Sunday. It’s a chance for me to sit down and reflect on the things that made me happy in the previous week, as well as to record some of our family adventures. It’s a post I always love to sit down and write.
Sunday Happy Things {Week 435}
Last week I managed to finish my beautiful Liberty London puzzle I received at Christmas. Liberty’s 750-piece puzzle takes the shape of the iconic Tudor flagship building, featuring chimney stacks, stained glass windows, and the golden Mayflower weathervane. I love a puzzle but this was a tricky one and took longer than I expected. It’s actually double-sided puzzle with a signature Liberty floral pattern printed on the reverse. I don’t think this is one I’ll choose to do again any time soon.
We decorated some biscuits for Valentine’s Day. I found the pack in M&S and couldn’t resist them. It also made for a fun after school activity and they tasted good too.
I finally completed my Level 3 in Business Administration which I’m really pleased about. I’m not sure what I’m going to do next but I’m so happy I don’t have to do any more studying for a while.
On my commute I’ve been reading an advanced copy of Homecoming by Kate Morton, one of my favourite authors. It’s an epic novel that spans generations, Homecoming asks what we would do for those we love, and how we protect the lies we tell. I really can’t put it down and am looking forward to having some more time to read next week.
