Countryside & Walking Contemplations books {giveaway}

Walking & Countryside Contemplations books {giveaway}

Posted on August 9, 2020 by jenny

One thing I’ve loved over the last few months has been the chance to explore where we live. We live on the edge of London which is the best of both worlds – a fast train into London and countryside at the end of our road. We’ve loved exploring our local area and have walked through ancient woodlands, discovered country parks and old country estates during the lockdown period. I’ve loved the slower pace of life.

Contemplation Series from Trigger Publishing

I was recently gifted two books from the Contemplation Series from Trigger Publishing. These pocket sized books are beautifully packaged in hardback, offering a collection of poems, quotes and extracts to inspire rest and reflection.

They are designed to help create a positive mood and mindset by focusing on the natural world, and encourage you to slow-down, and reduce stress and anxiety by escaping within the pages.

The first two books in the series are Walking Contemplations: Reflections on Rambling and Ambling and Countryside Contemplations: Reflections on Our Wild Wonders. In our quest to find a place for quiet reflection these simple but beautifully curated books on the wonders of the natural world provides a place for rest, contemplation and reflection. These books feature a selection of quotes, extracts and poetry on the folklore, wisdom and customs of walking and the countryside.

Two further books will be published later this year – Wildlife Contemplations: Reflections on Our Living World and Gardening Contemplations: Reflections on Sowing and Tending. The books are available via Trigger Publishing’s website, priced £9.99 each.

Win 2 Contemplations books from Trigger Publishing

I’ve teamed up with Trigger Publishing and one lucky person can win a copy of Walking Contemplations and Countryside Contemplations. To enter my giveaway you must answer the question via the Rafflecopter widget below, there are some bonus entries too. The giveaway is open to those with a UK postal address only and ends on 23rd August. The winners name will appear on this post. Good luck!

Don’t forget to check out my other giveaways on my competition page. Good luck!
