Trunki Travel ToyBox

When is a toy box not a toy box? When it’s a trunki travel toybox! We’re big trunki fans since seeing them on Dragons Den in 2006. Edward received a Bernard the Bee suitcase last Christmas which goes everywhere with us so we were delighted when we were offered a trunki travel toybox to review.

Like any other busy 16 month old Edward has a lot of toys and despite me tidying them away every evening they end up all over the house the next day. Let’s just say that there is no rhyme or reason to Edwards play just yet! We regularly try to keep a check on his toys and keep them in one place but they spill out from every cupboard and shelf. Storage can be quite boring and practical but trunki have designed an affordable and fun way of keeping toys together.

The trunki is more than a toy box though as it has many purposes: it can be used to store toys, as a rocker (when placed on the upside down lid), as a cart (when placed on the lid) or as a ride on (when turned upside down with the lid on). The trunki toybox can be joined with other trunki toyboxes to make a train. Not just a toybox!

Edward loves placing his toys in boxes so this is great for him and helps him learn about tidying his toys away. It is really simple to put together and can be taken in the car to nanny’s house too!
