At this time of year our thoughts turn to our festive favourites and what we’ll be reading and watching. We all have our favourite characters but one thing we love to sit and watch together is The Snowman and The Snowman and The Snowdog. I grew up with the story of The Snowman and it’s still a firm favourite in our festive Book Advent. I was so happy to discover The Snowman and The Snowdog and enjoy it with my children.

Luckily we are not the only ones who love these characters and every year there are some lovely products for fans. Today we wanted to chare our The Snowman and The Snowdog gift guide – read to the end for your chance to win some lovely goodies!

The Snowman and The Snowdog gift guide

The Snowman and The Snowdog Book and CD. The Snowman and the Snowdog is a new animation featuring Raymond Briggs’ magical character, the Snowman, which first aired on Christmas Eve, 2012. This book and CD edition of the wonderful new story is read by the lovely Benedict Cumberbatch.

The Snowman and The Snowdog have definitely captured everyone’s imagination as this year there were two hugely successful Snowdog Art Trails, which have seen packs of giant Snowdogs let loose in Brighton and Newcastle! Now you have the chance to paint your own with the lovely Paint your own Snowdog kit. My 6 year old decorated his as Kylo Ren from Star Wars The force Awakens – just what I would expect from my Star Wars crazy son!

I have a sweet tooth so was delighted to try the Thorntons Snowman white chocolate model. These beautiful chocolate models are the perfect special gift for little kids and big kids alike.  Fans of white chocolate will be delighted with The Snowman model which is made of creamy, white chocolate.

The Snowman and the Snowdog Gingerbread biscuits

As well as eating chocolate I like to bake and last week made The Snowman and the Snowdog Chocolate Muffin kit and The Snowman and the Snowdog Gingerbread biscuit kit. Both kits came with everything necessary to bake muffins and cookies and were the perfect festive treat.

Younger children will love The Snowman and The Snowdog Snowglobe. Shake the globe and watch the snow swirl around Raymond Briggs’ much-loved Snowman. With the snowglobe you can add a touch of magic to your child’s nursery this Christmas

The Snowman and The Snowdog Wooden Dominoes. Inspired by the much-loved The Snowman and The Snowdog these beautiful Wooden Dominoes feature illustrations from the film. Take turns to match the colours and pictures together, the first player to place down all of their dominoes is the winner! The Snowman and Snowdog dominoes encourage thinking and problem solving skills as well as imagination and creative development.
