It’s been a while since I tried a subscription box just for me. I suppose I haven’t really found any that I’ve wanted to try regularly. But when I received an email about the Summer Craftpod box I immediately signed up as it was all about cacti and moths! You can read what I thought about the Spring Craftpod box here. I find it hard to make time for me but a Craftpod box landing on my doormat immediately makes me shut my laptop and get making. Summer Craftpod Sub Box The Craftpod is a lovely subscription box. As fans of all things brick we were delighted to hear about a new subscription box for Lego fans called BrickBox. This is a monthly subscription box and we recently received the June box and made a little unboxing video of the contents: The BrickBox theme for this month was: Lego Jungle from the Lego City range which we were really excited about as we had spotted some sets in our local toy shop at the weekend and thought they looked brilliant. This BrickBox contained three Lego sets – the Lego Jungle Starters Set, the Lego Jungle Buggy and a Lego Jungle…

I’m a huge fan of subscription boxes so it’s probably no surprise that my children love receiving happy mail too. I find subscription boxes are perfect for the weekend. We received the latest box from mila & pheebs, this is a great subscription box for kids containing stationery and crafty activities. You can see a previous box reviewed by us here. Take a look at our unboxing video to see the theme of the latest box: The theme…

Regular readers know how much I love subscription boxes. They are a great way to try out new products and I’ve tried some fab ones, ranging from food to stationery to craft kits and more. My husband is finally getting in on the act as today we are reviewing Cornerstone, a men’s shaving subscription service. My husband is pretty furry, like most men, and doesn’t spend much time on his appearance. He does enjoy shaving though and has a collection of good quality products he has built up over the last few years. I couldn’t wait to see what he thought…

I’ve neglected my hobbies in the last few months and hardly spent any time being creative. Unfinished projects have been piling up around me, only making me feel more guilty about not making time for them. I’ve still been receiving the magazines and subscription boxes though! The latest one to arrive on my doorstep was the May EmbellishBox. Each month has a different theme and this months was On Safari. As usual the box contained four #papercutting templates: Safari Animals, Safari Party, Looking on Safari and a Safari House. I’ve nearly finished the Looking on Safari template. There were some…

Sometimes I really can’t remember where I found things. I guess that’s the good thing about the internet. You see a pretty picture on Instagram or read something on a blog and before you know it, you’ve found another subscription box to try out. That’s pretty much how I came across Craftpod. It’s a quarterly, creative subscription box, delivered to you at the start of each season containing sewing, baking and other surprises inspired by nature and the seasons. I loved the sound of the subscription so signed up and eagerly awaited a delivery. As this is a quarterly box the one I…

The weeks are going very quickly at the moment. I use my monthly subscriptions to mark the weeks and was very surprised to receive the latest Embellish Box. This is a monthly subscription box full of paper templates for paper cutting. Each box is themed and the latest box was called Up Up and Away. Inside the box were 4 x templates (Enjoying the view, Two balloons, Up up and away, and a balloon basket), 3 x backing papers from PaperStory.co.uk as well as some themed goodies: a hot air balloon lantern, cloud magnet, hanging hot air balloon and a…
