I’ve neglected my hobbies in the last few months and hardly spent any time being creative. Unfinished projects have been piling up around me, only making me feel more guilty about not making time for them. I’ve still been receiving the magazines and subscription boxes though! The latest one to arrive on my doorstep was the May EmbellishBox.
Each month has a different theme and this months was On Safari. As usual the box contained four #papercutting templates: Safari Animals, Safari Party, Looking on Safari and a Safari House. I’ve nearly finished the Looking on Safari template.
There were some great quality backing papers from Paper Story – Stardream Pearlescent Bronze, Stardream Pearlescent Flame and Stardream Pearlescent Copper.
There were some extra goodies relating to the theme too, these included Safari rubbers and pencils, fabric purse and chocolates. The total cost of the contents was value at £35.21 but my monthly subscription price was only £18.00
As much as I’ve enjoyed receiving this subscription box I’ve cancelled my subscription for the moment. I rarely get time to cut more than one of the templates each month and I’ve been neglecting my wonderful collection of papercutting and paper craft books.

Such a shame that you haven’t been finding much time for crafts recently! This looks like a fab box, I love the safari theme.
Paper cutting is something I really want to get in to. It looks so relaxing and therapeutic and the pictures always look gorgeous! I’ve no idea where to start with it though so a subscription box like this might be a good idea for me.
