    Last week was good. I love a Bank Holiday Monday and we decided to visit Buckinghamshire Railway Centre and Waddesdon Manor.Buckinghamshire Railway Centre was huge and although the weather wasn’t great we all enjoyed riding on the trains.     Happy May Day! Last week was a full week with everyone back at work and school and was therefore pretty tiring. Thank goodness for a lovely long Bank Holiday weekend!     What a difference a week makes. A week ago we stood on top of West Kennet Long Barrow in Wiltshire and enjoyed the Bank Holiday. The next day the children went back to school and I missed them and felt a bit lost at home on my own. It’s funny how quickly you get used to being surrounded by people. We spent the weekend removing the carpet from my son’s room and laying laminate down.     I can’t believe our two week Easter holiday has flown by. Today we are driving back home and the children are back at school tomorrow. However we have been busy planning the Summer holidays which should help get us through the Summer term.     I’m so pleased that today is the first day of our Easter holidays. My children were so happy to finish school on Friday and we had a really relaxing weekend together. I’m just excited that we have a break from our routine for 2 weeks.     This week was a little crazy. After celebrating our son’s birthday over the weekend it was my turn to celebrate my birthday.     This week has been a bit hit and miss. I’ve been busy planning for my son’s birthday which is on Saturday.
