    Styrofoam pumpkin and pumpkin patch

Last week I showed you the styrofoam ball spider we made with our Bostik Craft Club supplies. We were sent so many lovely items we decided to make more – a styrofoam pumpkin! My 4 year old cut the orange tissue paper into small piece and together we used the glue pen to stick the tissue paper on the styrofoam ball. We left it to dry whilst we worked on our pumpkin patch. I found a small styrofoam wreath in my craft stash and my 4 year old wrapped the coloured wool round it (which was great for his fine…

    Monday happy things

Do you like Mondays? I’m coming to the conclusion that I love them. There’s something comforting to me about the start of our weekly routine and my favourite weekly post. I finished my ticker tape doll quilt and it’s now hanging up on our quilt gallery wall. It only took me an hour to finish the binding so I’m mentally kicking myself that I let it sit around unfinished for so long. Somehow I have over twenty three thousand followers on Pinterest! I’m not sure how that happened but I’m happy as I love Pinterest and Instagram too. I find…

    Easy button pumpkin craft

I spotted pumpkins during the weekly shop and my children were really curious about them so we bought one. Always on the look out for some quick and easy crafts to occupy my children, last year we thought we’d try and make wriggly jelly worms, which we’d seen on Pinterest and are perfect for a Halloween party or a Halloween STEM activity. This was fun but messy and I recommend taking your time with it. Equipment you will need to make jelly worms: Jelly cubes Mixing jug 100 plastic straws How to make jelly worms: The first stage was to mix up the jelly. We used two packs of jelly cubes which we melted in hot water, before topping…
