    Both the children were off school yesterday thanks to an Inset Day. We used our time to make a fun Father’s Day craft as my children love surprising their Dad with homemade gifts and cards.     We had some left over air drying clay from a recent craft project which I set aside for my 6 year old. He loves playing with clay, it’s very tactile, easy to use and can be used for some fun craft projects. When he came home from school one day he said he knew how he wanted to use it. So this year we have been getting crafty for Father’s Day by decorating these fun key-ring blanks from Baker Ross.     I love the idea of making my own stamps. I’ve already tried a couple of things, such as shaping the rubber on the end of a pencil to make a bunting stamp. I also made stamps from craft foam and old bottle tops. This weeks’ effort involved recycling styrofoam sheets, we used the ones from ready-made pizzas, and printing hearts with styrofoam.
