Once again we were the lucky recipients of a bundle of craft kits from Baker Ross which kept my children busy during half term. A while ago my daughter and I visited a fantastic exhibition at the Royal Academy, the Joseph Cornell Wanderlust exhibition. He was an American artist famed for his collages and assemblages. This is my weekly opportunity to remember some of my highlights of the previous week and it’s been pretty busy. We really enjoyed a trip to The Art of The Brick exhibition on Brick Lane. It features over 100 models by artist Nathan Sawaya all made from Lego and was pretty inspiring. Whilst out in the West End we spotted a couple of decorated Shaun the Sheep statues. I’ve been wondering what to make with them and today my daughter decided to create a tissue paper wreath, just like pretty blossom and perfect for Spring.
