Each month we are sent a surprise box of crafting supplies and a new Bostik product to try. This month the theme was the weather and we received the Fine & Wide Glu Pen from Bostik. This is a clever glu stick with two ends (one thin and one thick) which makes it perfect for all kinds of craft projects. We have been experiencing lots of crazy English weather lately so the contents of the craft box were great for us to talk about the weather. Inside were lots of foam weather stickers, wooden pegs, the Glu Pen and other…

Our latest Bostik Bloggers parcel arrived full of crafty products and I immediately knew what to make. The theme was garden and my 4 year old loves her fairies so I thought it would be fun to make a fairy garden for small world play. We’ve been collecting little items for a while so we had everything we needed to make a special fairy house and place it in our indoor fairy garden. We took a sweet little bottle and painted the bottom part with white acrylic paint and the top with red and white acrylic paint to look like…

Last week I showed you the styrofoam ball spider we made with our Bostik Craft Club supplies. We were sent so many lovely items we decided to make more – a styrofoam pumpkin! My 4 year old cut the orange tissue paper into small piece and together we used the glue pen to stick the tissue paper on the styrofoam ball. We left it to dry whilst we worked on our pumpkin patch. I found a small styrofoam wreath in my craft stash and my 4 year old wrapped the coloured wool round it (which was great for his fine…

Every couple of weeks I receive a mystery parcel of craft supplies and the latest Bostik glue product. The idea is to make something fun with the children. Our latest box was full of amazing goodies in autumnal colours and we all enjoyed looking at the felt, wool, coloured paper and styrofoam balls and dreaming of what we could make. We thought we would make a styrofoam ball pet for Halloween and it was fun and easy to do. My son starts Reception in a couple of weeks. We’ve been keeping busy to prevent the dreaded Summer holiday brain-loss and have been working our way through basic phonics and puzzles. We started a holiday journal too where we add a photograph for eachday and he writes a little about what we’ve done. I’m feeling super organised as we’ve bought most of his uniform. This year he needs a PE kit so I thought I would make a shoe bag for him to keep his plimsolls in. I wanted it to be as easy as possible so today I’m sharing…

Have you crafted anything for Father’s Day? This year it falls upon June 15th and we’ve been busy making some little gifts. Recently we received a small package of craft materials as we’re members of the Bostik Craft Club. One of the products was a Blu Tack blu stick which my 4 year old immediately claimed as his own. We were also given coloured tissue paper and card. He’s been badgering me for a while about using it so today we did and made a cut out Father’s Day card. Materials you will need: paper template craft knife self-healing cutting mat…
