Sylvanian Families Ballet Theatre

Sylvanian Families Ballet Theatre playset review

Posted on September 19, 2017November 5, 2023 by jenny

We’ve reviewed some amazing Sylvanian Families sets recently. Both my children adore Sylvanian Families and I love that it feels like such a timeless, classic toy. As Friends of Sylvanian Families we were recently sent the Sylvanian Families Ballet Theatre to review.

Before I tell you all about it why don’t you watch our unboxing video to find out more:

Sylvanian Families Ballet Theatre

Hop, skip and pirouette along to the Ballet Theatre and admire a special performance from Freya Chocolate. Complete with a practice barre, chair and entry tickets, the theatre has everything you need for your Sylvanians to add a little magic to their evening. Play music from Swan Lake or The Nutcracker through the built-in speakers or connect your own music using an audio cable – and don’t forget to bring your dancing shoes!

This is a super sweet set and we absolutely loved the fact it is so interactive. The Chocolate Rabbit Girl has a beautiful costume and comes with a special stand so can dance! You can move the stage around and there are spaces for two more figures which makes it easy to put on a show.

You can also chance the backdrop board and stage as the cardboard cut outs are reversible. The Sylvanian Families Ballet Theatre plays two different pieces of music and you can also play your own music, just make sure to get the right batteries as they are not included, you’ll also need a 3.5mm jack to jack cable.

My daughter has been having so much fun with this set. As with a lot of Sylvanian playsets, you can connect the Ballet Theatre to Beechwood Hall via the connector.

This set didn’t come with a lot of accessories but I don’t this set needs a lot. It includes the Ballet theatre, practice barre, coat hanger, chair, backdrop sheet, floor sheet, tiara, Chocolate Rabbit girl (ballerina design), figurine stand (for ballerina figurine only), tickets x 3, additional stickers and Story Book. The fact that the stage moves and plays music means it is the perfect addition to our little Sylvanian world. You can buy the Ballerina Friends or Ice Skating Friends sets to go with the Ballet Theatre. You can also download more music and different backdrops from the Sylvanian Families website.

The Sylvanian Families Ballet Theatre is priced at £49.99 and available from Amazon and all good toy shops.
