You may remember last year I attended the Knitting and Stitching Show at Ally Pally where I picked up some lovely fabric to make a crawling blanket for my second child. I didn’t know if the bump would be a boy or girl so I tried to pick neutral fabrics. I couldn’t resist london scene by etsuko furuya which literally leaped at me as I passed a stand selling fabric. As well as the main fabric I bought a lime fabric to back the blanket and purple to bind it together. The fabric is gorgeous! It features well-known London landmarks…

On the 19 September 2010 I started a Day Zero list: a place to record my goals, discover new challenges, and gain motivation to achieve them. I have a list of 100 things I want to do over 1001 days. The list is due to be competed by 16 June 2013. I’ve been busy this month with baby stuff so it doesn’t feel like I’ve had much time to complete any of my actions! 11. So this year I am going to show you them in the vain hope I will complete the projects before next years’ Knitting and Stitching Show! I’ve also added them to my Day Zero list so I have a deadline of…

I was catching up on my google reader and saw that allsorts had bought some items from Decorative County Living. They reminded me of these little pieces that I picked up at the Knitting and Stitching Show at Ally Pally last month (I can’t remember the name of the stand I bought them from!). These are all destined to be used in the handmade gifts I will be giving this year, inspired by Handmade Holidays.
