Our Scruff-a-Luvs Blossom Bunnies reveal!

Our Scruff-a-Luvs Blossom Bunnies reveal!

Posted on February 27, 2019March 3, 2019 by jenny

Does your child love animals? Mine does. Unfortunately we only have a tank full of fish since we lost our cats. The children have been begging for rabbits, puppies or kittens – or all three! Thankfully, Scruff-a-Luvs have brought out something to answer their prayers – limited-edition Scruff-a-Luvs Blossom Bunnies which transform from scruffy to fluffy.

Scruff-a-Luvs Blossom Bunnies

I love this idea for a toy! You can ‘rescue’ your limited-edition Scruff-a-Luvs Blossom Bunny and transform them from scruffy to fluffy! Isn’t that a sweet idea for kids? Simply wash, dry, groom and reveal which mystery colour bunny you’ve adopted! Little Sis was very excited when she saw the box and couldn’t wait to see what was inside.

There are three limited-edition bunnies to collect – Lemon Drizzle, Posie or Peppermint. Once unloved and abandoned, the bunnies need a home in time for Spring! Little Sis tore open the box to find a ball of fluff, a brush, hair accessory and a certificate. She couldn’t quite believe what she was seeing!

The Blossom Bunnies arrive as a sad ball of matted fur, but once you bathe them, dry them, brush them and love them, you will discover which special bunny they really are! I read the instructions and got a bowl of warm water so Little Sis could save her Scruff-a-Luv. She gave her a good wash and she gently unravelled and opened up to reveal Peppermint bunny!

We washed her in plain warm water, but the instructions said you could use a mild detergent. Little Sis had so much fun as she just loves water play.

When bath time was over we dried off our Scruff-a-luv. The instructions said this could be done is 20 minutes but ours took hours! First we patted her dry with a towel. Then we gently dried her with our hair drier.

We couldn’t get her completely dry so we popped her for a spin in the washing machine. Her ears and feet were still quite wet so we hung her out to dry on the washing line for a bit.

Finally she was dry so we could brush her with the grooming brush. This was harder than it looked as her fur was still quite matted. She was very soft but we couldn’t get her brushed as much as we would have liked. Little Sis is pretty happy with her new Blossom Buddies Peppermint. She is very soft and has beautiful floral fabric inside her ears.

Her FFF (Furry Friend Forever) came with a special flower crown accessory, grooming brush and adoption certificate. She has been out everywhere with us, helping Little Sis climb trees and get books from the library. Take a look at our unboxing video on YouTube to see more!

Scruff-a-Luvs Blossom Bunnies from Worlds Apart cost £19.99 and are available from all good toy shops. If you would like to get your hands on one of these limited-edition Scruff-a-Luvs Blossom Bunnies then keep an eye out for my giveaway post in a few days.

How different is this? My girls would love washing their bunny to wake it up and then get it all dry and fluffy with the hairdryer. Mich x
