review of the Playmobil Royal Ice Skating Trip Advent Calendar

Playmobil Royal Ice Skating Trip Advent Calendar

Posted on November 2, 2017October 25, 2019 by jenny

I love Christmas and have been excitedly working on filling up our Advent Crate which is delivered by our little Elf on the 1st December. Every one in our house gets an Advent Calendar and I love looking round for the latest must-have calendars.

We’ve been Playmobil Playologists for a while now and were lucky to receive one of the new Playmobil Advent Calendars to review. Playmobil is a top manufacturer within preschool toys and make the best Advent calendars! In 2013 we reviewed the Playmobil Pirates Treasure Cove advent calendar, in 2014 we reviewed the Playmobil Santa’s Workshop Advent Calendar in 2015 we reviewed the Playmobil Advent Calendar Fire Rescue Operation with Card Game and last year we were lucky to be sent the Pirate Treasure Island advent calendar from Playmobil.

I can’t believe we’ve been so lucky to have opened so many lovely advent calendars from Playmobil. This year we were sent the Playmobil Royal Ice Skating Trip Advent Calendar to review.

Now I have to admit that I didn’t want to let my children see this and open it up. Don’t be disappointed though because the clever designers at Playmobil made a cardboard sleeve for the calendar which shows you exactly what’s inside the box! You can remove this sleeve and take out the cardboard scene without your children seeing the 24 treats inside.

Playmobil Advent Calendars provide the perfect way to countdown to Christmas with your child, and I know my daughter is going to really enjoy opening this one every day. She loves animals and I can’t wait to see her face when she discovers the owl, fox, deer and rabbits. The play scene is a great idea and I love seeing it build up throughout December. This set also includes a pretty bracelet. This is a great stand alone set but I know it will be easily added to our other Playmobil toys once Christmas is over.

You can find out more about the Royal Ice Skating Trip Advent Calendar, as well as all the other Playmobil Advent Calendars – Jewel Thief Police Operation, Christmas on the Farm, Dress Up Party and Pirate Treasure Island on the Playmobil website. Each Playmobil Advent Calendar is priced at £19.99.

There’s a strong resemblance to Frozen there, isn’t there? Much better for them than chocolate.

£19.99 is actually a really good prioce for the amount of Playmobil pieces you get – love that you slowly build the scene over the whole month. What a great advent idea…and yes, certainly a cheeky nod at Frozen right?

    Thanks for sharing!

Oh how cute! I remember the playmobil toys from when I was a child. I can see that they are still as cute as ever, this would make a lovely Christmas gift for the little ones.
