Perfect Thank You cards

Perfect Thank You cards

It’s been a busy few weeks with my son’s birthday. We like to celebrate for a full 7 days in our house which means his birthday cards and decorations only came down this weekend. He had a lovely birthday, was totally spoilt with the presents he received and had a bunch of his friends round to play computer games in the afternoon. Of course with presents come Thank You cards. Thankfully both my children are happy to spend a little time writing these so they are not too much of a chore.

I like to make an effort with our cards and used Potato Print to make cards using my favourite photo. Their site was pretty simple to use, I uploaded a photo for the front and one for the back, and was able to change the message on the front to read ‘Thank you for my present’.

The inside was blank so I encouraged my son to write his own message. The cards came with gorgeous brown envelopes and it didn’t take him long to finish the job.

Potato Print are a brand new website that showcases the masterpieces and memories of your little people in the form of personalised photobooks, canvases, calendars, gifts and more. They kindly let me try out their service, so as well as the Thank You cards, I also made our Easter cards using one of my children’s pieces of art. My son made a lovely Easter collage which I thought would be perfect and he was delighted to see his work in print.

If you would like to try Potato Print for yourself they have kindly offered me a code to share, simply use TGH20 at checkout to get 20% discount off your order.

It’s so nice to see someone else who does thank you cards. Sometimes it feels like we’re the only ones but I think it’s so important. I will check out the website

It’s so lovely to teach children to write Thank You cards! They’re just one of those things that show appreciation and to start them at a young age is fantastic! I wish there were some ‘finished’ pics for us to appreciate. Will have to check out the website too.
