Paws Cafe Shrewsbury

Paws Cafe Shrewsbury {Cat Cafe}

Posted on April 3, 2024 by jenny

Today we visited Paws Cafe, a cat cafe in Shrewsbury. You all know how much we love to visit a Cat Cafe, as my son would much rather swap our dog for a cat! We found out about Paws Cafe online and booked a visit. Situated in a pretty building on Mardol, it was easy to find with parking on the street outside.

We were welcomed inside, put our shoes into a locker, and went inside to choose out seats. Paws Cafe is large and we plumped for a comfy sofa. There are 11 lovely cats who live at the cat cafe, ranging from a gorgeous Maine Coon to domestic short hair and a bengal.

The cats were super friendly and the kids enjoyed playing with them. There were lots of places for the cats to sit and sleep, as well as toys to play with the cats, and even brushes for the longer haired ones.

We enjoyed hot and cold drinks, and treated ourselves to delicious cakes. There was a lovely atmosphere and it was a great place to sit and relax for a while.

There is a £6 charge per person for 30 minutes which is the minimum stay, but drinks are included (1 drink per person, per 30 min visit). Children must be aged 10 or over to visit, children aged 1-9 years can visit during the special family sessions.

    Love this pet cafe to spend time with my own pet if I’m based nearby for sure. Thanks for sharing this. Cheers SiennyLovesDrawing
