Monday Happy List

Monday Happy Things {Week 396}

Liberty London Union JAcks

Starting the week by writing the Monday Happy List is something I’ve been doing for a while. It’s a chance for me to sit down and reflect on the things that made me happy in the previous week, as well as to record some of our family adventures. It’s a post I always love to write.

Monday Happy Things {Week 396}

My daughter had her first school residential so was away all week. It was really quiet without her and we missed her so much. Thankfully she had a great time and got to try loads of different activities, which was perfect for her as she is very sporty.

She was pretty tired when she got back so our weekend was quiet but it gave us the chance to try a new jigsaw puzzle from Jigsaw Avenue. We made a fun collage style design featuring images of Paris. It was a great contemporary design and fun to do as a family. You can read our review of the jigsaw puzzle here.

With our daughter away we took the opportunity to take our son out. We tried Stakt in Ruislip Manor which does the most amazing burgers and shakes. We also went to the cinema and watched Dr Strange in the Multiverse of Madness which was good if a little crazy.

Last week we got new flooring fitted in our house and new stair carpet too. It’s made the place look lovely and fresh. I can’t believe it’s taken so long to get the flooring done.

I had fun making some Union Jack flags from my stash of Liberty fabrics. We’ve made a lot of Platinum Jubilee crafts but this has to be one of my favourite so far.

Have a great week!
