Monday Happy List

Monday Happy Things {Week 392}

2022 bluebells

Starting the week by writing the Monday Happy List is something I’ve been doing for a while. It’s a chance for me to sit down and reflect on the things that made me happy in the previous week, as well as to record some of our family adventures. It’s a post I always love to write.

Monday Happy Things {Week 392}

We started our week with a day out in London, visiting the Leake Street Tunnel to admire the latest street art, and then on to DNA VR in Hammersmith to spend a really fun hour gaming together.

We recently bought life membership of the National Trust as we always have such lovely days out with the National Trust. We chose to visit Cliveden gardens and the weather was perfect for our trip. It was very busy but it’s such a huge place that it didn’t matter. We took a picnic and enjoyed it outside whilst admiring the views. We bought a National Trust passport and have already collected two stamps!

The kids enjoyed a sleepover with their friends although didn’t seem to get much sleep! They went climbing together which is something Little Sis absolutely adores.

The weather has been amazing for a bank holiday weekend and we did a lot of work on the garden. It’s amazing how the jobs build up over winter and we cleaned and sanded the drive, tidied up plants and built a huge wooden planter that runs down one side of the garden. I have loads of bedding plants to go in and I’m hoping to squeeze that job in before I go back to work.

We made an Easter Bucket List to make sure we did all the things we wanted to do over the holidays. Last week we made dough balls, chocolate nests and Easter biscuits. We went for a walk in the local woods to see the bluebells. And also did some geocaching, reaching the grand total of 300 caches since we started!

Have a great week!

    That’s good to have an Easter list to make sure you do all of the things over the break that you want to. Sounds like a fun time, esp with the National Trust membership which I have been tempted to do myself x
