Happy Monday everyone! Hope you all had a great weekend. I have one more day with my children before they head back to school tomorrow. It has been a busy week with them around, but loads of fun, and we’ve created some great memories.
The weather has been a mixed bag but we enjoyed a trip to our local Lido so the children could take their bikes out. You can see how muddy it was but that didn’t stop them. A chance of clothes *might* have been required when we got home.
Our little village finally has its own gastro pub and we enjoyed a delicious dinner at The White Bear last night. It’s my husbands birthday tomorrow so we made sure to start our celebrations early.
My husband took the week off which meant I was able to have a little child-free time to concentrate on some adult crafts. I made delicious ginger muffins with lemon drizzle icing, finally got to use the Annie Sloan stencil and made a new seat cover for my Lloyd Loom chair.
There have been almost too many Star Wars’ crafts this month. Both my children are obsessed and I’ve been chronicling them over on my other blog. This weekend I bought the children some very cute Star Wars Tsum Tsums, and we made a C3P0 from our recycling box and some fun lightsaber treats.
We booked a holiday which means Little Sis needs her first passport. We’re all very excited about having an overseas family adventure this year.
Hope you all have a great week!
