It’s that time of week again when I write my favourite post – my Monday Happy Things!
On Friday I spent the day at London Zoo as a Keeper for a Day. I had an amazing experience and helped clean out cages, prepared food, fed the giraffes and got a great look behind the scenes at ZSL. Hopefully I will have time to write a full post about my day soon.
I’m a huge fan of Orla Kiely so was pleased to hear of a new collaboration with Boots. She’s created two new toiletry scents; energising orange & caraway and sage & lavender which are available as body scrubs, hand balms, and travel sets. The packaging is gorgeous and these have made it to the top of my Christmas Wish List! Apparently there is a new line of Orla Kiely watches too so I’m hoping for a few special Orla kiely packages under the tree this year 🙂
On Sunday I had my annual trip to the Knitting & Stitching Show at Ally Pally. I bought some beautiful fabrics and am completely inspired to get back to my sewing projects.
Hobbycraft commissioned me to write a couple of posts for their blog which was exciting. Hopefully they will be going live today as I can’t wait to share them with you.
I popped into John Lewis over the weekend and bought some Christmas decorations from their new range. Part of me was horrified that I was buying Christmas decorations, the other half of me was happy I had the chance to buy them. They had a huge display of bleached bottle brush trees hanging in the central atrium which I loved. Last year I tried dyeing my own bottle brush trees which was fun but it didn’t stop me from buying a couple to add to my collection.
